2 Pre-production/Planning
The preproduction was helpful as it prepared us for the production work which was filming the different scenes we needed for our music video. Before hand we had to have an analysis of a music video which was Beyoncé- If I Were A Boy. This helped me as a individual as it made me think of various ideas such as mise en scene, the shots we could include in our segment etc. The call sheet helped a lot as it organised us as a group. We had a call time for our actors who took part in our music video so we knew when to hire out equipment such as the camera and tripod. We made sure to stick to our crew call and estimated wrap this is because we needed time for editing and posting the music video to our blogs. We made sure the locations were clear in the call sheet so the department know where we are. The sheet contributed well as it made us work quicker and shoot additional shots we needed. I also done the Recce, it helped a lot as it made us professional with the rooms we were filming in. It made us check for any faults or hazards that could be a danger to anyone. I also done a permission for Sia as in the real world you would have to via social media to see if you will be allowed to use an artists 'work or audio. This helped us as a group it was easy to do, As I messaged Sia via Instagram and screenshotted it. In our group we divided the preproduction work so it would get done quicker across the week. It was successful as every member finished the preproduction work we all sent our documents to each other. The risk assessment was done easily by Ricardo. It also helped us understand what will and won’t be included in our music video e.g. crowds, weapons. The storyboard could have been more detailed, as Joy only did one sheet. However our filming went to plan as we knew we wanted a narrative music video. Some issues were the secondary research, one day ece forgot her usb at home where her work was on, so this delayed the group to get the document. All pre production contributed to our group music video as it was easier to us to get organised, it also gave us a vague outline of what needed to be done when we started the production. The casting had some issues at the start, for example Joy was going to use her two friends to be our two main actors in our music video. Unfortunately they both did not have the same breaks as we did, so this would make us lose time in filming. We then decided to use Malvina who is in our class, and Anzar who did not mind taking part in our music video. It went well as they listened to what shots we needed and we got it done. We did not include script writing as we did not use any dialogue, it was not needed.

3 Production & Post-production
I did well in my production role as we filmed all scenes we needed in our music video. We made sure to shoot various locations so our music video doesn’t come across a repetitive. We started to film in the girls toilet as we wanted our music video to be a narrative. We started of with a long shot of Malvina entering the toilet and illustrating the process of her getting ready. We don’t keep the shots too long so the audience does not get bored. We made sure the cut rate was fast and it fit the song and build up. We see a medium shot of Malvina looking in the mirror putting on lip gloss signifying her getting ready. We also used a long shot of her looking into the long mirror showing her full body. We used a close up of girls cosmetics so the audience understand she is getting ready. There were some issues such as having people coming in and out of the toilet, we had to let girls know we wanted to use the toilet for a bit for filming which was successful. Our music video used and developed forms and conventions such as showing off the actors, as it is a narrative music video, we see two lovers, a female who is not phased by money to have fun. We made the music video memorable as we used many shots referring to money, we printing out fake dollar bills. We also used the green screen to we could edit the background in the post production editing. Another convention we used was making the genre of music obvious to the audience. The genre of our music video is Pop ,electro pop indie pop, trip hop and acid jazz. We made it more obvious as Malvina was bubbly she also dances and is happy in some of the scenes to create that pop feel. We used high use of lighting so the scenes were bright and clear. Fast cuts that synchronise with the song. Main two actors shown being childish having fun, smiling Our music video is narrative, as we have different random shots of Malvina with the green screen. The theme of our music video could be relationships, but also money. The meaning of the song illustrates not having money to have a good time.

4 Film Language use of Camera, Editing, Mise-Scene & Sound.
Our group stuck to our music video conventions and genre such as the setting e.g. Photography studio, TV studio, Girls Toilet, College Field and College Corridor. The locations instantly portray the fun and entertaining life you could have without money at times, we show the couple happy together. Also it illustrates the age of the two actors as they are in college, it shows that our target audience is teenagers, they can relate to the song more. One of the most conventional props used in the music video is the dollar bills. It is significant in the music video and lyrics. Another prop used was a radio, we used Malvina she held the radio as it went with the shot nicely. It also is used in the lyrics for the build up of the song. A phone was held by Malvina, she was shown taking a picture of her and Anzar smiling, hugging etc. It suited our narrative as we wanted them as a couple which worked out well. When we started editing we decided to look through our footage. We decided to edit to the beat at times so it came across as more effective. Also it made our music video more pleasing, the shots complimented the visuals very well. As a group we decided to use various camera shots such as close ups and mid shots, we wanted the audience to see Malvina, and Anzar in detail. We done long shots so it was clear to see the environment and location properly. For example there is a shot of Malvina and Anzar in the Corridoor we used a long shot purposely so we can see everything from a distance. We represented the main lead lip syncer which was Malvina, we done mid shots and close ups of her so we could see her facial expressions.
