6 Vision 2030 Natural resource sustainability and ecosystem resilience are secured by a capable civil society.

Ecosystem based management (EBM) in river basins strengthened through increased civil society and community participation EBM in Marine Spatial Planning is being understood and used with civil society as key stakeholder Improved environmental performance of extractive industries through increased transparency and dialgoue with civil society

Theory of change Some of the basic assumptions of the program The competition over natural resources is increasing and the resource base is at risk. There is enough integrity in the legal system to react to public pressure when something is wrong Building a strong civil society and strengthening affected people´s voices to claim their rights will improve the dialogue and set in motion a change process towards more responsbile management of the resource base.
