We took a “field trip” to the gift shop and looked at all the different types of menorahs available. We learned about the Shamash candle and that there are eight other candles for the eight nights of Chanukah. Then the children designed their own menorahs using different types of materials.
הילדים בקרו בחנות המתנות של המרכז היהודי בדאלאס ונחשפו לכל מיני סוגים של חנוכיות.
הם למדו על השמש ועל כך שיש עוד 8 נרות בחנוכייה : נר לכל לילה מלילות החג.
לאחר מכן בנו הילדים חנוכיות מחומרים שונים , כיד הדמיון הטובה עליהם!
