Food Packing Day at MBC - Feed children in Philippines
When: May 20, Sunday at 9:00am to 3:00pm
What: Food Packing Event at McLean Bible Church, Rock Gym
Need: Food Packers for just an hour and half
Do: Pack 110,000 food packs for the Philippines to feed the malnourished children, pregnant mothers and those suffering from tuberculosis and denied of proper nutrition.
Result: Feed 20,000 people, 3 meals a day for 2 months distributed through a network of 200 pastors of the International Care Ministries. Please invite family and friends for this event, something we can really give glory to God.
Serve 9-10:30am or 11am -12:30pm or 1-2:30pm

1.-I was born this way
2.-10% of the population is homosexual (or, how could so many be wrong?)
3.-My lifestyle is a normal, healthy ‘alternative’ to heterosexuality

4.-The Bible condemns lustful, indiscriminate homosexuality, but not loving, committed homosexual practice (rebutted by Scripture)
Creation/created intent (Gen. 1:27-28; 2:18-24)
Destruction of Sodom (Gen. 19:4-9)
O.T. moral law (Lev. 18:21-25; 20:12-16)

Would someone who has come out of a homosexual lifestyle feel safe to tell you about their past and even about their current struggles?
How do we not lower the bar of righteousness and at the same time make the church a safe place for those in the homosexual lifestyle to find the love and the grace of God?

If Jesus were walking the earth today, how do you think He would respond to the controversial issue of homosexuality?
Are there things that He would have to change in you before He could clearly express His love and grace through you? Anything come to mind that you would like to share?

20. For further reflection
Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen. Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts.
