10 Do you feel that resources to support preparation for a career in health professions at Rice are decentralized (not accessible from one location, website, office, etc.)?

11 Additional Findings In the residential colleges, most students reached out to PAAs for guidance. Shadowing, standardized test preparation, and gap year opportunities are some resources/opportunities students have found less accessible compared to others. Research and summer opportunities were not seen as major concerns among most students. OAA is used as resource for pre-health students, and most students stated positive experiences. Students expressed concerns regarding lack of resources for health professions outside of medicine and dentistry such as veterinary medicine, physical therapy, nursing, occupational therapy, etc. Students wanted to have information in a more centralized location and have found difficulties with the current system.
