Our Guiding Principles Diversity is everyone ’ s responsibility. Diversity does not mean assimilation; rather, it means finding common ground while also respecting difference. Diversity is not an issue to confront every few years, but a tool for achieving excellence. Diversity requires new models and structures as well as linking theory with practice.
