3 Big Picture PE and Sport Faculty
We have now covered all of the LO1 and LO2 content for the exam; extrinsic and intrinsic factors that can influence the risk of injury and also how warm ups and cool downs can help to prevent injuries. We are now starting LO3 – knowing how to respond to injuries in a sporting context. This will develop your knowledge of the different types, causes and treatments of injuries.

In pairs you are going to create a fact file each on Severs disease or Osgood Schlatters disease. You can choose how you would like to present the information on your template. Both fact files will then be photocopied so that you and your partner have information on both injuries related to children Use your information sheet to help you to include information on: The cause of the injury The signs and symptoms The treatment Cut out the picture and attach it to your fact file
