Company background: Standard Bank has been in Namibia since 1915, the first commercial bank to open a branch in Lüderitz on 19 August of that year. From humble beginnings, with three branches, a fully-fledged bank has emerged. Today we have 22 branches, 17 service centres and 115 ATMs throughout Namibia. We take pride in being part of Standard Bank Group, a large financial services company that is rooted in Africa but reaches all corners of the world.
