UPDEA official visited Nairobi early July and held discussions with local committee
The congress organizing committee has secured booking of the congress venue
‘Call for Papers’ brochure ready, website version already posted on the Internet
Other publicity/information materials including an Exhibitors Brochure being prepared and will be sent to Secretariat, Member utilities and others

The organizing committee is already in place and is being chaired by the KenGen Deputy Managing Director
Negotiating for best rates and bookings for hotels going on.
Planning for other logistics – conferencing, transport, catering, etc also going on
Advertising the conference globally has already been rolled out.
