Trouble shooting Guide: Top Head Assembly Problem: Debris in the top head, causing cleaner to not work due to poor water flow. Problem: Debris in the top head, causing cleaner to not work due to poor water flow. Solution: Remove both drive tubes (drive tubes are press fit only) and clean top head. 3 Trouble shooting: Bottom head assembly Problem: Debris in the bottom head, causing cleaner to not work due to poor water flow. Problem: Debris in the bottom head, causing cleaner to not work due to poor water flow. Solution: Remove set screw and flapper cover, proceed cleaning any debris in the flapper chamber. Solution: Remove set screw and flapper cover, proceed cleaning any debris in the flapper chamber.

Making necessary adjustments: Proper Hose Length Leisure Vac cleaner hose should be one hose length longer than the farthest point in the pool when attached to the skimmer or dedicated suction port. Too much hose will cause the cleaner to tangle up on itself and circle. Not enough hose will cause the cleaner to not clean areas of the pool.

Making necessary adjustments: Regulator Valve The Regulator Valve adjustment is critical to the cleaner speed. Adjust the regulator valve open or Closed to control the speed of the cleaner The proper speed of the cleaner is approximately 12 ft. per minute. A dirty filter will affect the speed of the cleaner. Always make sure to clean your pool filter regularly.

Making necessary adjustments: Hose weight The hose weight will dramatically effect the Leisure Vacs ability to climb the pool walls. Moving the hose weight towards the cleaner head will keep the cleaner from climbing above the water line. Moving the hose weight back will allow the cleaner to climb out of deep end profiles and pool walls. The correct starting point for the hose weight should be 3 ft. back ( approx. one hose length) from the cleaner head.

Making necessary adjustments: Return line diverter The Return Line diverter can be used to change the surface water flow. Remove return line eyeball and replace with return line diverter to divert the surface water flow downward. Use return line diverter when surface flow from return line prevents the cleaner from cleaning an area ( usually in front of return line) of the pool.

Making Necessary Adjustments: Tricky or Trouble areas In some pools, Steps, Ladders, Main Drains, Boulders, or special shapes/ Designs may cause the cleaner to get trapped. The optional Switch works with the movement of the cleaner to wind a simple spring. Once the spring has been wound, The spring switches the hose direction and re-directs the cleaner.
