Procedures Reduced: From 29 to 8 Time Total time of all approvals during construction cycle reduced from 213 days to less than 60 days. Quality of Regulation enhanced: - Latent defect liability and decennial defect liability insurance included. - Professionals qualifications defined . - Risk based classification of all buildings enabling fast pacing in plinth level inspection and OCC incorporated. Cost Cost associated with Construction Permit reduced from 13.6 lacs to INR 1.91 lacs 2

Online Common Application Form (CAF) for Building permit, includes the information required by external NOC agencies Online checklist available in the Public Domain for user to validate on requirement of applicable NOCs through GSDL superimposed CCZM Single Interface for Applicants for Construction Permit under SWCS Online registration of Architects/ Structural Engineers No physical Interface of the applicant with external NOC agencies Online provision to track Application Status. Online Issuance of digitally signed sanction letter and approved plan / Plinth Level Certificate / Occupancy –cum- Completion certificate SMS/ mail to the applicant / architect at all stages of application

Process Simplification
The Digital Signatures have been incorporated so there is no interaction between the applicant and the department All the requisite information regarding Building Bye-Laws, Master Plan of Delhi, Office Orders, Circulars, List of Building Plans, DMC Act etc. are available on the MCD website Check List : The ‘Check List’ and FAQ are available in public domain The affidavits (16 Nos) have been converted into e-undertaking from architect and an undertaking from applicant Online Single payment option is available through Net banking / RTGS / NEFT/ Debit-Credit Card. Online Calculator to determine the Building Plan fee is available on the website. For awareness of General Public, Facebook page (MCD Ease of Doing Business) has been launched on which all circulars / office order / information are shared regularly. For day to day grievances / technical issues WhatsApp group is functional on which the replies are given on daily basis.
