3 Logging In Browser Compatibility Password Requirements
IE Versions 9,10 and 11 Chrome, Firefox, Safari: Current Versions Password Requirements Minimum of 8 Characters 4 Level Complexity (upper-case, lower-case, number, special character) 90 Day Age (recommended) 10 Password History New Account Default Passwords – this can be 4-9 Digits of SSN or something the client wants to create. Password Resets – this can be either Last 4 SSN, Full SSN or Other

6 Virtual Code Authentication
Virtual Code Authentication (VCA) is a second layer of security added to the configurable password settings in place. After a user enters their Username/Password and click Login, if the system does not recognize that computer as one the person has used in the past 30 days, the system will require a second form of authentication before the user can continue.

7 Virtual Code Authentication
When logging in from a device that has not been remembered, the user will be asked which method you would like to use to receive your code for that specific login. When the box is checked, the next time the user logs in from the same device, a second factor of authentication will not be required.

8 Login Troubleshooting
In the SuiteHR Admin Holding Site you can run a Login Attempts reports to help identify the source of the issue Reports>System Login Attempts If the cookie expires or is deleted via the web browser options the user will be asked for a 2nd login factor using the virtual code authentication If the user logins in from a new/different device or browser the 2nd factor authentication will be required. A user must log in within 14 days of their account being created or the system will automatically lock their account. Reset Passwords and Unlock Accounts, My Employees>Employee Maintenance>Reset Password

9 System Look & Feel An Administrator can upload images and change the look and feel for the Login Screen, System and Mobile app. Company Settings>Global Setup>System Look & Feel

10 System Look & Feel Our Company menu is used to provide users access to: Announcements Events Documents Employee Directory Organization Chart Configuration is done under: Company Settings>Our Company

11 Dashboard/Home Screen
The default First Screen can be identified in either the Main Tab of the employee’s record or within a Security Profile. Note, if different First Screens have been identified in both places the system will defer to the employees record selection. Most commonly used First Screens are either a Dashboard or Timesheet

12 Dashboard & Screen Configurations
Within a Security Profile: Definitions: Dashboard Premium - allows for more windows/widgets than a Dashboard Employee Information - layout of an employee’s record viewed by an Administrator or Manager Employee Information(ESS) - layout of an employee’s profile screen viewed by the employee. Mass Edit Employees’ Settings – where you can control the data fields and Administrator can mass edit.

13 Security Profiles Security Profiles drive what areas of the system the user has access to, functions they can perform and information they can see. Default Security Profiles: Company Administrator Department Manager Employee My Account is where a user goes to view their personal employment information and perform Employee Self-Service (ESS) functions. This is controlled within the ESS section of a Security Profile. My Employees is where a manager or administrator view employee records. This is controlled within the HR section of a Security Profile.

14 Employee Security Profile
ESS and Reports are the 2 main areas configured for an Employee Security Profile. This is used for an employee that does not manage other employees.
