3 The T-E-A-C-H Program - Child Development
This program is called AshaKiran: A child between the age group of 7 to 14 years Child who has never been to school Child who is not attending school but enrolled, irregular or absent for more then 45 days without any information to school and laggard in comparison to his/her age and class. Community mobilisation on awareness of RTE Act. Provide supplemental teaching, counseling and mentoring through intermediary centres. Organise and conduct learning ability evaluation of each child every 3 months. Monitor the progress of each child funded through a tracker on the TEACH website.

RILM have signed 24 MoU s with different NGOs to reach out children from 10 states across Country.

Children being screened by Rotarians to be taken under Asha Kiran Chennai - Tamilnadu 24 Pgns South, West Bengal Patna - Bihar Bhubneswar - Odisha Patna, Bihar Cuttack, Orissa Commitments to support 27,000 children have been received. More than 7,000 children have been screened and approved to be sent back to school.
