Key Project Objective status As the country adapts to new Common Core Standards, it is important that online K-12 classes adjust as well. This Honors United States History from 1870 to the Present class is designed to study the ideals, political institutions, cultural developments and people responsible for the creation of America. It will serve as a model by which a Maryland Virtual School class might add Common Core Standards to its online instruction. Karen Trimmer, November 2013
