6 Well like planning to teach anyway!
Like falling off a bike? Objective (keep this in mind all the way through the process) Like planning to teach, a screencast needs an objective or aim. It might be very simple. Design (this will influence the rest of the process) Will the screencast be screen only, screen & Webcam? do you need to annotate or "draw"? etc ... Select the most appropriate app, hardware and physical location for recording. Also where the file will be saved Prepare Open all files needed, launch screencast app, check hardware, close unwanted apps (e.g. ) to avoid pop-ups, etc. GO! Hit record and away you go! Don't forget you can pause and re-start, and that you can edit at the end. Remember to save!
