KW Technology for Agents 101 Tell Us About Your Business: Fill In Your White Pages Profile KW Technology for Agents 101. Once you have completed all required steps listed in this lesson, you will get your profile to 100 percent. A 100 percent profile will ensure you are displaying the most necessary and complete contact information when a visitor finds you on KW.com.

2 Step 1: Edit Your Referral Profile
Let’s begin by filling out your referral profile. First, log on to You’ll see the “Profile Photo” placeholder in the top left corner of the page. (Click) Click on the button underneath labeled Profile to continue to your profile page.

Here on the Contact Information Comparison page, you’ll see several sections that can be edited. Most people will only have an “Agent” role in their profile, but if you’re a commercial and/or luxury member, you’ll see additional sections to address the information associated with those memberships. With your profile score in mind, you’ll only need to focus on your “Whitepages” and “My Referrals”. (Click) Click edit under “My Referrals”, to pull up and edit your referral profile.

4 Step 1 (cont.): Edit Your Referral Profile
Once you have clicked Edit on the Referrals section, you will be taken to this page. This is a snapshot of your referral profile page. Here you will enter the information that other agents will see when searching for you in the referral directory. We will review the required fields one by one. (Click) Team Name [0%]: Here is where you will enter your brand name. (Click) Specialties [5%]: You will mention specific types of customers or properties that you focus on, such as for sale by owner or real estate owned properties. (Click) Designations [1%]: Include any certifications or affiliations with professional real estate organizations you want to highlight on your profile. (ex: Realtor or ABR [Accredited Buyer Representative]) (Click) Slogan [1%]: What do you want to say about your business? Example: Annie Agent, She Is Not Just Any Agent! (Click) City / Service areas [5%]: When an agent looks for you in the referral directory, they will be able to see your service areas. This field is also tied in to how you are found when a potential client performs a city, state search on KW.com. It is a good idea to spell these in as many variations as possible. For instance “Dallas Fort Worth”. There are several different abbreviations for this city name such as: DFW, just Dallas, or just Fort Worth. Spell the city name in as many different ways as possible to ensure that a potential client will match what you have entered. (Click) Languages spoken [1%]: This field speaks for itself. (Click) Website: This field shows you what you have named your KW agent website. This particular field is only for reference purposes. Edits to it are made through your agent website admin tool which will be addressed in the Agent Websites video. (Click) Referral notes [3%]: Ask yourself why another agent should refer leads to you and craft a short message to them. (Click) Don’t forget to save!

5 Step 2: Edit Your Associate Information
After saving the referral page, scroll down and you’ll see the next section of your KW White Pages profile. Your associate information is a compilation of your contact information, your social media information, and other information. While some of this may already be populated, it’s important that you fill out as much of this form as possible. Here are some fields that you may need some help with: (Click) The first thing you will see at the top is your Agent Profile Photo. This will appear on your myKW homepage, in your Market Center Intranet, on your KW.com Agent Profile and in the KW Referral Directory! Make sure your business has a face! Click Upload Agent Photo to add your best agent photo. (Click) Under that you will see your current roles. Make sure you are associated with the correct Market Center! (Click) User name: If you are not satisfied with your current user name to access mykw.kw.com, you may change this now. (Click) MORE ID: If the MORE ID field is blank, please notify your MCA, as this links you to many important internal databases. (Click) Address: Make sure you fill out Street 1, City, State, Province, Postal, and Country (seen in the next slide). This does not have to be the Market Center’s address. If your office is housed in another physical location, you may enter that address. This is the address in which you will receive mail from KWRI.

6 Step 2 (cont.): Edit Your Associate Information
Scrolling down the page, you’ll see the following fields. (Click) Business phone [5%]: This phone number can be connected to the Market Center, a home office, or your mobile number. (Click) Mobile Phone [5%] (Click) Mobile Carrier [5%]: Complete the Mobile Phone and Mobile Carrier fields to be eligible to receive text messages regarding your listings from the mobile.kw.com website. (Click) Fax: If you do not have a fax number, it is not necessary to enter one. You can also enter your Market Center’s fax number. (Click) Country: Choose Canada or United States.

7 Step 2 (cont.): Edit Your Associate Information
Continuing to scroll down, you’ll see the following fields. (Click) Biography [5%]: This field will serve to provide a little bit of personal information about you and your real estate career on your KW.com profile page. (Click) Display URL: This is a custom URL that points directly to your KW.com agent profile page. You can add any available name in the open field. (Click) Facebook.com [3%]: This field will only require the end of your Facebook URL. For example, if your Facebook URL is all you need to add is “Keller Williams Realty”. (Click) Twitter.com [1%]: Similar to the Facebook field, if your twitter URL is you will only need to enter “kwri” into the field. (Click) Blog [3%]: This field requires you to enter the entire URL. Ex:

Step 2 (cont.): Edit Your Associate Information Facebook URL: KellerWilliamsRealty Twitter handle: kwri Blog: If you don’t happen to have a (Click) Facebook account, (Click) Twitter handle, or (Click) a blog account, have no fear! You can use the KW information! Just enter the following:

(Click) Display for customers [5%]: This option ensures that your profile shows up when someone searches for you on KW.com. It will also push your profile information to your Market Center’s website. (Click) [10%]: This address is tied to many calls to action including the me link on your listings and your kw.com profile page. KWRI will also use this address to correspond with you. It is one of the most important pieces of your White Pages profile page! Take a moment to make sure that the correct address is entered! Last but not least, don’t forget to save!

10 What You’ve Accomplished
Your Profile Score Is 100%! Phone: (512) Please return to your myKW homepage and check your profile score (Click). If for some reason you are still not at 100 percent, please contact our KW Support Team by (Click) or phone (Click). A support representative will be able to assist you with any missing fields.
