4 The solution Hardware Software
A physical switch controlled via USB placed on the cash-dispenser’s power circuit. Software An agent app that controls the physical switch A server that connects with the agent and receives the fraud alert message A SQL Database for data management of terminals.

5 Benefits Cost effective solution
Central management and administration of ATMs Integration of both Hardware and Software to stop Black-Box attacks Dedicated solution for NCR ATMs SQL Database C# .NET agent app, compatible with all Windows systems from Windows XP onwards (requires at least Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0) Friendly web interface

6 How it works The agent app detects the fraud tentative and sends a command to the physical switch that stops the black-box from dispensing the notes from the cash dispenser. At the same time the agent app will send an alert to the server The server receives the alerts from all installed agents and will send alert messages to other apps (monitoring app, , others). From the server one can send remote commands to the physical switch installed on the ATM to stop dispensing in case of suspicious activity on the ATM.
