4. STEP 1 Setup 1-0 Check contents
Note: The microSD card has been preloaded files and mounts on the CUBIIO SUIT(1.).

5. STEP 1 Setup
1-2 Put the given sample paper on the base and then put the CUBIIO SUIT right on the base.
1-1 Plug in the power cord and the USB cable.

6. STEP 1 Setup 1-3 Turn the main power on. “-”means ON. “o”means OFF.
1-4 Touch and hold down the power key until the notification light turns on.

2-0 Keep your mobile phone within a 50-cm radius from cubiio.
2-1 Make sure that your mobile phone is connected to the Internet.
2-2 Make sure turning on location sharing. 
2-3 Access the Bluetooth function of your mobile device. DO NOT pair cubiio.
* All listed above are absolutely required, and there will be further explanations in the end of the video.

First sign in, pleas register an “admin’s address” and set up a “safety code.”
Make sure that you have read and agreed all contents of safety regulations.
* If you don’t receive a verification within 1 minute, please re-check the following:
The verification mail could be categorized as spam.

Q1: Besides the Sketch mode, are there other picture sources I can upload to my Cubiio? A1: The Cubiio has 3 alternative input sources: 1. Choose a file: Select a picture file from Micro SD card storage.
2. Choose a photo: Select a picture from your mobile storage.
3. Sketch: Draw your own pattern for Cubiio to engrave.
Q2. What file formats does Cubiio support?
A2. Cubiio supports uncompressed BMP files with extension .bmp and text g-code files with extension .txt, corresponding to bitmaps and vector graphics respectively. For details of vector graphics, please see our instructions of G-code generating on the official website.
Q3. How to set proper values of power and speed?
A3. Qusers have shared many reference values based on various materials; however, we strongly recommend that users test with spare materials before engraving important items.
Q4. Why do Android phones need to turn on location service?
A4. On Android system, location service is required for Bluetooth BLE to work properly. Please search “android ble location permission ” for details.

Q5.Why is there no mark left on my target material when there is laser beam emitted on my target.
A5:First, make sure that the material you use is engravable, such as wood, leather, paper, cloth, and so on. Some white papers cannot absorb laser energy because of the high reflectivity of plasma coating of the paper surface; therefore user can try to use colored paper. Second, please keep cubiio at a distance of 15-16cm from the target so that it can focus properly; otherwise it will not work.
Q6. Pop-up notification shows the cubiio Shield can’t be detected.
A6. Please check and tighten the two black positioning pins on the bottom plate before test again. To engrave without cubiio Shield, please turn on Expert Mode, which you can find in the main menu setting at top-right corner of the screen.
Q7. My phone is unable to find my cubiio!!
A7. Both iOS and Android system need to turn on Bluetooth, and Android must additionally allow "location permission" (location or GPS). In addition, a cubiio can only connect one mobile phone. To connect another mobile phone, please turn off the cubiio completely for 3 seconds before restarting.
