Today we are going to focus on the essential building blocks. This is not an inclusive list; other lesson components will be addressed in future PD, e.g. small group models.
Which section has the most information? What does that mean for you, your students, and your lessons?
What do the first 3 blocks have in common (Learning Targets, Assessment, Learner Centered Instruction)? How will this impact your planning/co-planning?

6. Analyzing a Sample Lesson Plan

Today we are going to focus on the essential building blocks. This is not an inclusive list; other lesson components will be addressed in future PD, e.g. small group models.

Students will be able to locate and use eBooks in order to explain how their features are useful for interacting with a text.
Students will be able to use eBooks proficiently to complete the Independent Reading Project assignment in English class.
