5 Listening Tests Students take the Level C test in the following situations: They are in an Advanced ESL-009 course They are in an ESL-010 Bridge class and have never tested in Listening They have exceeded 235 on Reading tests in the past How will you know their past history of testing?

6 Listening Tests Instructions for conducting a listening test
1. Give each student a brown test form. Make sure all identifying information of student and test form is written and bubbled in. Play the CD. If in Advanced ESL 009, play the CD to the entire class at the same time. If you are in a Multi-level class and not the whole class needs the Listening Test, what should you do? Note: Make sure no one is taking the same form 2 times in a row.

7 New Reading GOALS Test

8 Reading GOALS Reading GOALS is aligned to the College and Career Readiness (CCR) Standards for Adult Education (2013). The series covers the full range of ability levels in the Standards, from beginning literacy through high adult secondary. Reading GOALS measures the rigorous academic vocabulary and higher-order thinking skills contained in the Standards. Test content continues to be based on CASAS Competencies to maintain relevance for adult learners, including an emphasis on employment-related topics required by WIOA.
