1. He wanted to make the America as athletic democracy. 2. He was affected by early jobs in printing shops and newspapers rather than schools. 3. He liked to enjoy rural life and maintain a joyous curiosity about every detail of life. 4. He considered that the life is never over. 5. He freed American poem from the old English tradition. 6. 8 Emily Dickinson (1830~1886) She lived in rural and quite area, so she was not be influenced by the environment in 19C. She wrote about love, death, soul and heaven. Her poetry is filled with images and themes.
