Grad Requirements 24 credits ELA (2 grade 10, 1 grade 11, 2 grade 12)
Social Sciences (1 grade 10, 1 grade 11, 1 grade 12) Math (1 grade 10, 1 grade 11) Science (1 grade 10, 1 grade 11) Art/PAA (2 credits, any level) Wellness/Physical Education (1 credit, any level) Electives (5 classes at the 30 level)

Apprenticeship Credits
Must be working with a journeyperson in a trade 100 hours of work = 1 credit Paperwork filled out & approved prior to starting You can also register with Sask Youth Apprenticeship (SYA) and be eligible to count hours earned towards apprenticeship time if you pursue this trade as a career. You may also qualify for tuition assistance. See a career counsellor if interested!

100 hours + project-based assessment could give you 1 credit Lifeguarding, Royal Conservatory of Music, Pilot’s License = YES Sports teams, babysitting course = NO See a career counsellor for more info.

DCAD 20 + DRFT 390 = Sask Polytech CAD/CAM Engineering Program WAM 20 or 30 + MEAS 182 = Sask Polytech Autobody, Automotive Service, Ag Machinery Tech, Heavy Equipment & Truck Tech & Parts Management Tech Health Sci 20 + MTER 180 = Combined Lab & X-Ray, Cytotechnology, Medical Lab Assistant, Medical Radiological Technology & Pharmacy Technician If interested, check off the box on your registration form and a career counsellor will meet with you.

TASCAP TASCAP Home Build in Regina, 5 elective classes If you are interested, please indicate on your registration form but still fill out a registration as if you are NOT doing TASCAP.

Environmental Science 20 Wildlife Management 30 If interested, fill in Outdoor School Program on your registration form but then sign up for 8-10 classes as if you are NOT doing ODS.

What’s Next … Fill in registration form with class requests & return to office by Friday, March 2rd. All registration forms are input into the computer in March Principal creates Master Timetable in April-May Student timetables are generated – May A career counsellor goes through timetables and meets with students who have timetable conflicts – May/June Student timetables are distributed – June report card day Class Changes – last week of August, first week of September Class changes not granted for teacher preference or spare preference

Relevance Magazine Includes articles, tips, links and resources to help individuals explore career options that fit their interests. The magazine includes a Job Chart, including job descriptions, Saskatchewan employment numbers, wage estimates, training and education options and future employment prospects.
