3. 2 Types of Changes in Matter:
Physical Change- any change that alters the form or appearance of matter but does form a new substance
Ex: sand  sand castle
Changes of state- solid, liquid, gas
Change in shape or form- bending, crushing, dissolving, breaking, chopping
Methods of separating mixtures – filtration and distillation
