1 Power Distribution Blocks

2 PDB - Introduction Typically, PDB’s facilitate getting power from the Main (high ampacity) to the Load (low ampacity), while conforming to Codes and specs. The “Primary” is the input side of the PDB and accepts large wires from the main switch. The “Secondary” is the output side and can usually accommodate a lot of smaller wires that continue on to the loads. Main Power 3-pole PDB’s The new FSLBS has many advantages over the old LBS: The terminals are rated for two wires, which is highly valued by OEM’s and panelbuilders. The rotary versions can be operated from the front or the side. This one benefit alone eliminates the need for over 20 catalog numbers. Fourth poles and auxiliary contacts can be added on the fly, utilizing the snap-on feature Our standard selector-style handles have features like NEMA 4X and a defeater mechanism that require an expensive upgrade from ABB. The same switch used for the back panel can be mounted on the door, with full access to the terminals, thanks to the side-operating feature and modular design The most valuable feature is that we can now be aggressive and responsive with our pricing. Lets go after those big accounts! Loads
