6 Value - Simpler Line and Load Terminals Fuse Switch DIN rail mount
NO+NC Aux Contacts Line and Load Terminals DIN rail mount The CCP is simple to design, install and use. Specifiers value the SCCR ratings of the CCP, with class CC fuses it is 200kA) as it promotes a high SCCR panel rating which is based on the key NEC marking requirements for short-circuit current ratings of industrial control equipment include: Industrial control panels [ ] Industrial machinery electrical panels [670.3(A)] HVAC equipment [440.4(B)] Installation of the CCP is easy. The one-step DIN Rail mount is quick and easy. The line and load side terminals are backed out at the factory to speed power wiring. Installing the fuse is simple. The Fuse door located on the bottom of the CCP rotates up and locks out of the way for easy fuse insertion. A positive closure of the fuse door confirms the door is locked and ready for deployment. Operation of the CCP is simple. Like other mechanical switches, the lever in the front of the CCP simply rotates up to close the switch. Visual feedback in both color and text meet global requirements assuring that users anywhere in the world will find the CCP easy to operate. The fuse door is interlocked with the switch as a safety measure to prevent fuse removal under load. The CCP is also equipped with an indicator for fuse status. When the fuse in the CCP has operated, the CCP indicator will illuminate showing maintenance personnel where to find and replace the fuse. This saves valuable time in troubleshooting. 7 Unmatched performance in electrical protection
Value - Better Standard A/C Voltage Ratings Standard Interrupting Ratings MMP MCB MCCB 480/277 120/208 MMP MCB MCCB 65kA 14kA 18kA CCP is rated 200kAIC CCP is full 600v rated Best of all, the CCP is a better choice for protection of circuits up to 32 amps at 600 volts, it is fully rated in comparison to most Circuit breakers that have slash ratings. The High SCCR rating of 200,000 amps comes from the current limiting ability of the class cc fuse When looking for solutions to increase panel SCCR ratings, look no further than the CCP for high performance. Circuit breakers standard interrupting rating is usually 14 to 18kA and MMP’s is 65kA compared to the 200K Interrupting rating of the CCP. Benefits of the high 200kAIC rating are reduced Arc Flash Hazard incident energy at the panel where the CCP is installed, and higher panel SCCR ratings which help the OEM and Panelbuilder make a more competitive solution. 14 Comprehensive volume of application knowledge
Challenge! Tools for Selling Application Note The application note is perhaps the most important document in the selling toolbox. Since the CCP is a new category in the designer’s toolbox, it might not be intuitive where the CCP can be applied and why it is a game-changer. The goal of the application note is to help the customer move beyond the benefits to identifying where they can apply the CCP. When this is coupled with the sample program that puts a sample in the OEM/ Panelbuilder’s hands, this gives the salesperson a great one-two punch to create new installations for the CCP! In the next three slides, we will review some common applications as examples. Comprehensive volume of application knowledge

15 Challenge! Best fused solution! Tools for Selling: Application Note
In the application note we have a comparison of the CCP with other fused solutions. As you can see the CCP with Class CC fuses offers the best ratings in a very compact footprint and competitive price. Best fused solution!

16 Better ratings than circuit breakers
Challenge! Tools for Selling: Application Note We also have a comparison with Circuit breakers, and once again the CCP with Class CC fuses offers the best ratings in a very compact footprint and competitive price. In the application note we have a comparison of the CCP with other fused solutions. 17 Higher ratings achieved in control circuits
Challenge! Tools for Selling: Application Note Control Circuit Applications Control Circuit Applications: When control circuit transformers or power supplies are tapped from the feeder circuit, UL508A requires protection of the control circuit by a Branch Circuit overcurrent device. When tapped from the Branch Circuit, only supplemental overcurrent protection is required. However, in both cases, the equipment SCCR cannot be higher than the interrupting rating of the control circuit overcurrent device. The CCP-Class CC can be used in these applications to provide cost-effective overcurrent protection, high interrupting rating and increased equipment SCCR. Where supplemental protectors and standard circuit breakers are used, the voltage rating and interrupting rating limits the application of equipment unless more expensive circuit breakers with higher ratings are used. This table compares the CCP with supplemental protectors and circuit breakers for these applications. Higher ratings achieved in control circuits

18 Higher ratings achieved at competitive cost
Challenge! Tools for Selling: Application Note Resistive and Lighting Circuit Applications Resistive Heating and Lighting Circuit Applications: Branch Circuit overcurrent devices are required for protection of resistive heating and lighting circuits. Low rated circuit breakers or misapplied supplementary protectors are sometimes used in these applications. Although the voltage and interrupting rating of the circuit breaker can be increased (resulting in increased cost), other circuit components, such as magnetic contactors, may have low short-circuit current ratings when protected by circuit breakers. The low interrupting ratings or low component SCCR will limit the equipment SCCR. As shown in Table 5, with circuit breaker protection, the equipment is limited to an SCCR of 5kA due to the 5kA SCCR rating of the magnetic contactor when protected by a circuit breaker. The CCP-Class CC is a cost-effective solution that does not limit the SCCR and can be used to raise the SCCR of components such as a magnetic contactor. Therefore, it is easier to achieve high equipment SCCR utilizing the CCP-Class CC. Higher ratings achieved at competitive cost

19 Better ratings for motor circuit applications
Challenge! Tools for Selling: Application Note Motor Circuit Applications Motor Circuit Applications: In motor circuit applications, several important considerations must be analyzed to determine the best solution for the specific application. The first consideration is the ability to disconnect, isolate and lock-out/tag-out the motor for maintenance and enhanced safety. Other important considerations to assure flexibility of design and applications for motor circuits are: • Increased interrupting ratings and short-circuit current ratings • Increased voltage ratings • Ratings with variety of components and manufacturers The table in this slide compares the three most common motor circuit alternatives that provide disconnection, isolation and lockout/ tag-out capabilities and the effect on the other important considerations. Better ratings for motor circuit applications
