Social Networking Websites like Facebook are being used for bullying. Kids are using social networks to: Send mean messages Spread rumors Mock somebodies race, religion, or sexuality

Bullies think that what they are posting is funny and harmless Bullies find it easy to do and less dangerous than traditional forms of bullying

New York has laws that address bullying in general and disrcimination, but there are no laws that specifically address cyberbullying.
