1. THE JUDGE ADVOCATE GENERAL CORDIALLY INVITES YOU TO THE
2018 REGIMENTAL DINING-IN
1. All commissioned officers, warrant officers, enlisted personnel (Regular, Reserve, National Guard, and Retired) and civilian employees of the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps are invited to a dining-in to celebrate the 243nd Anniversary of the Army JAG Corps.
PLEASE NOTE the dining-in is intended to celebrate the esprit de corps of the Regiment. Due to the nature of the event and limited space, spouses are not invited.
2. The event will be held on Friday, 12 October 2018 at the Fort Myer Officers’ Club. Cocktails will be served beginning at 1800 and the mess will be called at Military dress will be the Blue Mess Uniform, the Dress Blue Uniform, or Army Service Uniform (with black bowtie). Civilian dress is black tie.
3. Menu choices are:
a. London broil, marinated and then char-grilled to medium rare (served with red potatoes);
b. Breast of chicken florentine, served on a bed of spinach and topped with hollandaise sauce;
c. Baked salmon, served with rice pilaf and light lemon butter caper sauce; or
d. Pasta primavera.
All meals include a salad, vegetables, dessert, iced tea, and coffee. Bread, as well as red and white wine, will accompany dinner service. A cash bar will also be available.
