“He Has Made Me Glad” Music and lyrics by Leona Von Brethorst CCLI #1493

3 I will enter his gates with thanksgiving in my heart, I will enter his courts with praise.

4 I will say, “This is the day that the Lord has made
I will say, “This is the day that the Lord has made.” I will rejoice, for he has made me glad.

5 He has made me glad, he has made me glad
He has made me glad, he has made me glad. I will rejoice, for he has made me glad.

6 He has made me glad, he has made me glad
He has made me glad, he has made me glad. I will rejoice, for he has made me glad.

12 “Sing of the Lord’s Goodness”
Music and Lyrics by Ernest Sands Used courtesy OCP Publications

13 Sing of the Lord’s goodness,
Father of all wisdom, come to him and bless his name.

14 faithful to the end of days.
Mercy he has shown us, his love is forever, faithful to the end of days.

15 Come then, all you nations, sing of your Lord’s goodness,
melodies of praise and thanks to God.

16 Ring out the Lord’s glory, praise him with your music,
worship him and bless his name.

17 risen from the snares of death.
Power he has wielded, honor is his garment, risen from the snares of death.

18 new life he now gives to all.
His word he has spoken, one bread he has broken, new life he now gives to all.

19 Come then, all you nations, sing of your Lord’s goodness,
melodies of praise and thanks to God.

20 Ring out the Lord’s glory, praise him with your music,
worship him and bless his name.

21 Courage in our darkness, Spirit of our God most high;
comfort in our sorrow, Spirit of our God most high;

22 splendor of the living God.
solace for the weary, pardon for the sinner, splendor of the living God.

23 Come then, all you nations, sing of your Lord’s goodness,
melodies of praise and thanks to God.

24 Ring out the Lord’s glory, praise him with your music,
worship him and bless his name.

25 Praise him with your singing, praise him with the trumpet,
praise God with the lute and harp;

26 praise him with the cymbals, praise him with your dancing,
praise God till the end of days.

27 Come then, all you nations, sing of your Lord’s goodness,
melodies of praise and thanks to God.

28 Ring out the Lord’s glory, praise him with your music,
worship him and bless his name.

29 Statement of Faith We believe in the most High God, who strengthens us and repays us many more times than we expect. We believe in God who gives generously and who expects the same from all creatures God has made. We believe in God whose utmost, loving sacrifice is experienced through Jesus Christ who paid it all.

30 We believe that Jesus Christ consciously and lovingly emptied himself so that we may learn to make sacrifice and live joyfully before God. By Christ’s impartial love we learn tolove all those on the margins. We believe in the Holy Spirit who enables us to represent Jesus to the world.

31 We believe that by the power of the Holy Spirit a new community will be created without labels.
We believe all has been accomplished for deliverance and salvation and is now being lived in fresh even as God is glorified in heaven.

32 I Corinthians 16:2-4 from The Message

33 Regarding the relief offering for poor Christians that is being collected, you get the same instructions I gave the churches in Galatia. Every Sunday each of you make an offering and put it in safekeeping.

34 Be as generous as you can
Be as generous as you can. When I get there you’ll have it ready, and I won’t have to make a special appeal. Then after I arrive, I’ll write letters authorizing whomever you delegate, and send them off to Jerusalem to deliver your gift.

35 If you think it best that I go along, I’ll be glad to travel with them.

36 I Corinthians 16:2 King James version

37 Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.

38 I Corinthians 16:2 Common English Bible

39 On the first day of the week, each of you should set aside whatever you can afford from what you earn so that the collection won’t be delayed until I come.

40 Malachi 3:10-11 from The Message

41 “Begin by being honest. Do honest people rob God
“Begin by being honest. Do honest people rob God? But you rob me day after day. You ask, ‘How have we robbed you?’ The tithe and the offering—that’s how! And now you’re under a curse—the whole lot of you—because you’re robbing me.

42 Bring your full tithe to the Temple treasury so there will be ample provisions in my Temple. Test me in this and see if I don’t open up heaven itself to you and pour out blessings beyond your wildest dreams.

43 For my part, I will defend you against marauders, protect your wheat fields and vegetable gardens against plunderers.” The Message of God-of-the-Angel-Armies.

44 Malachi 3:10 King James Version

45 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

46 Malachi 3:10 Common English Bible

47 Bring the whole tenth-part to the storage house so there might be food in my house. Please test me in this, says the Lord of heavenly forces. See whether I do not open all the windows of the heavens for you and empty out a blessing until there is enough.

48 Meet the Stewards!

49 Unison Prayer Eternal God, we are grateful that you have led us in the past and will continue to lead us in the future.

50 Thank you that your faithfulness to us does not depend upon our faithfulness to you, for often we have failed to follow your leadership.

51 We have sown seeds of war, not peace; we have spoken words of anger, not love; we have failed to build bridges with people in our neighborhoods when we should reach out to them in Jesus’ name.

52 We repent of these sins and ask your forgiveness
We repent of these sins and ask your forgiveness. Change our hearts and give us the strength to walk in the ways of reconciliation and peace. We pray this through Christ, our Lord, who showed us how to live this way to your glory. Amen.

“Change My Heart, O God” Music and Lyrics by Eddie Espinosa CCLI #1565

55 Change my heart, O God, make it ever true
Change my heart, O God, make it ever true. Change my heart, O God, may I be like you.

56 You are the Potter, I am the clay
You are the Potter, I am the clay. Mold me and make me, this is what I pray.

57 Change my heart, O God, make it ever true
Change my heart, O God, make it ever true. Change my heart, O God, may I be like you.
