2 IB Testing 2017 April 28th – May 19th
You are excused for the entire day of school You MUST turn in the signed permission form to me by April 21st Results are available July 6th – login with given pin code DO NOT LOSE your pin code. I will be out of town in July and will NOT reply to “I lost my pin code” s

3 Third Baptist Exams 4/28-5/3 and 5/5-5/19 are held at Third Baptist Church: 410 W. McKnight Drive, Murfreesboro 37129 We typically test in the fellowship hall (1st floor) or the gym (2nd floor) which is located at the back of the church. Park at the back (look for my Red Hyundai Accent) After exams, no one may leave until tables are put away (when necessary) Third Baptist is our host! Please be appreciative when you meet their staff and take care of their facilities. Do NOT leave trash on the floor!

4 St. Marks UMC Exams on 5/4 are held at St. Marks United Methodist Church: 1267 N. Rutherford Blvd, Murfreesboro, TN 37130 We will test in the classrooms upstairs. Park near the sanctuary (look for my Red Hyundai Accent) Please arrive early this day- we will need to move tables from the banquet rooms to the classrooms. After exams, no one may leave until tables are put away St. Marks UMC is our host! Please be appreciative when you meet their staff and take care of their facilities. Do NOT leave trash on the floor!

5 Reporting Results Your results can be sent to ONE college
Please put your name and college on the list in order for it to be sent If you haven’t decided yet, you need to come tell me by April 27th or else your results will not be sent

6 Fees If you still have not paid your test fees yet:
Your results will NOT be sent to your college You will NOT be able to access your results July 6th You will NOT receive your OHS diploma Your final OHS transcripts will NOT be released to your college

7 What to bring on test day:
Pen with blue or black ink Pencil with soft lead and eraser (for Multiple Choice and Graphs/Diagrams only) Ruler Highlighters (for use on question and non-graded writing only) Watch (not a smart-watch) Graphing Calculator for: Biology P2 and P3 Business Mgmt P1 and P2 ESS P1 and P2 Chemistry P2 and P3 Math Studies P1 and P2 Math SL P2 Math HL P2 and P3

8 All electronic devices must be left outside the exam room
Personal belongings (car keys, etc) will be left at the back of the room Water will be allowed Pens, pencils, highlighters in a clear container only

9 You are each being given a copy of this
You are responsible for following these rules and procedures We will go over some of the key points now

10 Starting the exam: Each test (except for multiple choice exams) will start with 5 minutes of reading time. During this time, candidates must not: write anything highlight questions use calculators All that may be done during the 5 minutes is read (and listen to the music tracks during the music exam) Take particular notice of instructions – do not answer more sections than are required Exams start on time. If you are late within 60 minutes, you are permitted to start the test, but do not get to makeup the time missed.

11 During the exam: Handwriting must be legible (if an examiner cannot read it, he or she cannot mark it) Structured Exams: Write answers in the designated box. If you are unable to complete your answer in the box, continue in an answer booklet. You must indicate you have done this by writing a note in the answer box.

12 During the exam (continued):
Semi-Structured Exams: Some of your answers will be in the designated box. Questions without a designated box will be answered in the answer booklet Unstructured Exams: All answers will be answered in the answer booklet In all exams: Neatly cross out anything you do not want graded

14 During the exam (continued):
No communication among students at any time. No sharing of items (calculators, etc) at any time. Restrooms: Students may not get up during the first hour or during the last 15 minutes of an exam For exams one hour and 15 minutes or less, candidates may not get up at all. After the first hour and before the last 15 minutes, students may get up to use the restroom (one student in the restroom at a time) All communication is considered academic misconduct.

15 Ending the exam: When the exam ends, students use the string tie to attach their cover sheets, answer booklets, and graph paper There is no talking until all exams are collected Students are not permitted to leave the exam early except in the case of emergency. Everyone stays for the entire exam.

Everyone needs to sign this candidate consent form It gives us permission to upload documents on your behalf to the eCoursework site (which we have to do as several of the components are required to be uploaded by the school, not the candidate)
