Purpose
The performance experienced in real installation environments varies significantly because of a number of complicated, and interrelated factors. Currently there is no generally accepted method for evaluating this performance.
What is needed is a end user, device level, test and analysis method(s) that provides a good degree of confidence in predicting the coverage, throughput and directivity performance of IEEE (and potentially other) wireless devices.
