Dedication. Courage. Leadership. Overcoming Prejudice. These are things you can learn for yourself and shape you into the person you are. That’s what this show is all about and finding the bright side of the things.

3. Friday Night Lights is a show about a man named Eric Taylor who been hired as the head football coach for the Dillon High School Panthers, the town's pride and joy. Friday Night Lights lays out the pressure the people of the town gives the players to win and the coach. The players and the coach go through many problems on a daily: Racism, Drugs, Lack of Resources, and Family Values

5. True Story
Friday Night Lights is based off a story of the 1988 Permian High School in Odessa, Texas as a Panthers football team as they made a run towards the state championship.

6. Relatable
You feel a real-life connection to the characters. Few characters experience the lost of a loved one, being molested, the thought of not being enough to someone and the pressure of college scouts on the look for the next big thing.

7. Drama
There’s always one or two love triangles, jealousy, betrayal and trust issues lying in between the lives of all the characters.

8. Counter Argument
In my opinion, I think Friday Night Lights is one of the best shows in the mid 2000s and still to this day. Others may disagree for the lack of interest in sports.

9. Conclusion
This show can teach you a few things: Dedication, Perseverance, Faith and Loyalty. The shows displays how people can come together through ups and downs, and how one person can make a difference in someone else’s lives. You learn not to judge a book by it’s cover when it comes to being the underdogs and it’s never too late to turn things around.
