5 Purpose of Training Ensure CSPP employees of airport contractors can appropriately respond and assist during an emergency on airport property. Ensure a more safe and secure airport by having uniform, high quality and consistent training standards for CSPP employees. Provide CSPP employees with the preparation, resources and knowledge to respond, assist and be accountable in an emergency situation at the airport. 4

7 Emergency Preparedness Training
Shall include the following: Personal and home preparedness Airport Overview Understanding the roles and responsibilities of responding agencies and LAWA divisions in an emergency Role of Airport Response Coordination Center /Department Operations Center Airport and Terminal layout 6

8 Emergency Preparedness Training
Developing observation, detection, customer service and reporting skills. Training to make all employees aware of their roles and responsibilities to themselves and others during an incident. Awareness level training in ICS, NIMS and SEMS 7

9 Emergency Preparedness Training
Hazard specific response training to include: Earthquake Fire Active Shooter Hijack Hazardous Materials Bomb Threat Aircraft Accident Severe Weather Power Failure Breach Suspicious Article 8

10 Emergency Preparedness Training
Terminal evacuation/re-population procedures Assisting persons with disabilities (ADA) Emergency communication procedures Personnel accountability Procedures First Aid/CPR/AED/Stop the Bleed Training Continuity of Operations Any other EPT required for employees under applicable Federal or State law or regulations. 9

11 Training Confirmation Package
Letter of Intent On company letterhead Signed by an executive officer(s) Employer Certification Plan Implementation of training program Training Syllabus Must include LAWA approved courses Training Instructor Resume(s) Safety & emergency preparedness experience Due no later than 5/31/18 10

12 CSP Certification Reporting Requirements
Initial 16-Hour Training: New Employee Training Rosters Due within 120 days of hiring Current Employee Training Rosters Due 2/01/19 All employees must be certified by 12/31/18 Recurrent 16-Hour Training: Quarterly New Employee Training Rosters Due 1st day of following quarter Annual Employee Training Rosters Due 30 days after reporting period 11
