About FUZE Technologies Ltd FUZE is a small, UK based company on the verge of reaching critical mass. Founded in 2014 near Oxford, the FUZE team are passionate about coding and teaching. Our five man team ranges from 16 years old to 50. The founder, Jon Silvera, started out in the west of England teaching computer programming in 1985.
Mission Statement: To develop the coding and hobby electronics markets established by Arduino and Raspberry Pi into mass Education and Consumer markets and to establish the FUZE brand as a global leader in educating young people the valuable and exciting subject of coding.

There is an abundance of jobs in IT & programming
The computing curriculum now includes computer programming as a core subject
No focus on programming for almost 30 years
Schools, especially primary, are not equipped to teach ‘real’ programming
Coding tools generally fit into two categories – simplified, visual coding simulators & professional languages

4. The FUZE What is FUZE? FUZE BASIC
The FUZE is a computing platform designed specifically to help make teaching text based programming as easy and as accessible as possible. The FUZE T2 has a built in electronics workstation providing an exciting and safe platform for students to learn simple electronics while learning to code.

We developed FUZE BASIC to be a cross-platform learning tool focused on text based coding and simple electronics. Content Projects, worksheets and lesson plans directly supporting Robotic devices, Arduino boards, Joysticks, the BBC micro:bit and midi keyboards.

FUZE is already established with an in-store presence in the UK’s largest enthusiast electronics retailer, Maplin. We also are available online from Amazon, Argos & Toys ‘R’ US
Maplin have already announced they will take new products and are in fact waiting for us to respond
FUZE has a very positive brand awareness and has only ever received positive press
We have been commissioned by Bletchley Park’s National Museum of Computing, the Eden Project, Big Bang Science Fairs as well as constantly receiving bookings for holidays, school workshops and clubs
We are currently in negotiations with our first UK franchiser who will deliver FUZE workshops for a license fee. This a model we are looking to scale nationwide and internationally
We have a very solid product roadmap that will dominate education and consumer markets
We need financial investment and support (manufacturing, circuit design & local market knowledge)

We are looking to release an expanded range of FUZE educational and consumer products aimed totally at ‘learning-to-code’ and the IoT All products are overflowing with sensors and communications technology to maximise learning potential.

The FUZET3 is a smaller version of the original FUZE workstation, but with more features. Schools have problems with space so the T3 addresses this. The device has built in wi-fi & bluetooth as well as a rechargeable battery.
A small USB powered display is sold along-side meaning it can be totally portable.

16. Investment & Forecasts
There are two investment opportunities available:
Opportunity 1: $450,000 – 10% equity With this investment we will rapidly expand our sales and marketing workforce to build our UK workshop and training activities, and build our global franchising operation. This requires additional staff resources to produce educational content and manage localisation. Additionally we will be able to manufacture the FUZET3 with a high quality case and keyboard.
Opportunity 2: $1,200,000 – 30% equity As above with increased resources for international sales, marketing and franchising. Plus the manufacture of the FUZEbox and FUZEnano

17. Investment & Forecasts
The following figures forecast from October 2017 (Q4) as this presents the first full year revenues from with all new hardware.
Notes: Figures are based on achieving maximum investment. 2nd and 3rd year 50% UK Education revenue ~21% UK Retail revenue ~28% UK Direct revenue ~19%
UK Workshops and events revenue is ~9% (and very profitable) International revenues are ~19% Franchise revenue is initially very low at ~4% as I believe it will take time to build.

An valuation at year three, based on two times revenue, would suggest a market value of ~$15 million
An initial investment of $1.2m with 30% equity would therefore be valued at $4,500,000
