Create a simpler, common, integrated business process for buyers and sellers that promotes competition, transparency and integrity.
Increase data sharing to enable better business decisions in procurement, logistic, payment and performance assessment.
Take a unified approach to obtaining modern tools to leverage investment costs for business related processes.

5. IAE Accomplishments
Launched or expanded 10 centralized acquisition systems since 2002
Use of IAE systems mandated by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
Redundant systems have been shut down, paper forms have been eliminated and procurement systems are sharing data
Strategy IAE has followed:

Acquire if necessary
Small businesses have the same opportunity as large to take advantage of federal business opportunities
Agencies are required by OFPP to validate data to confirm accuracy
to search federal contracting dollars and grant awards created. Required by FFATA. Utilizes FPDS data
