CBS is intended to produce Nepal Standard Central Product Classification (NSCPC). It is also on discussion level and detail is not worked out. o Adding some of products of Nepalese context. o deleting irrelevant products to Nepal. o Constructing a good linkage between NSIC and NSCPC and or other classifications. o Some of oil ( mustard oil, soybean oil and seas am oil, Linseed oil) and their weightage is not suitable as national needs e.g. production index. 7

13 Conclusion Nepal has produced NSIC – 2000 at four digit level adopting as of the frame of ISIC Rev. 3. We have agreed that new activities with more weightage should be arranged. The next revision of NSIC would hopefully to be able to tap on those new activities. NSCPC is under discussion and hope that it also able to tap those new products .
