5 Status position of Re-Classification/allotment/transfer of Land measuring 14.60 Acres.

6 The Principal reminded the Hon’ble Chairman and the members about the long pending agenda of re-classification/allotment of land. The Vidyalaya building and staff quarters are on the defense land measuring Acres. The transfer/lease-deed has not been done, till date. The matter for re-classification of land is pending since long. The status report till date is as under :

Convening Order Passed by Col Rakesh Kumar, SO(Land) on 05.March 2015 for seeking Ex-Post facto Sanction of MoD MATTER IS STILL PENDING

8 Review of Revised and Budget Estimates 2015-16 & 2016-17 Approved by Chairman, VMC.

9 Condemnation of Assets of Computer Lab

10 Condemnation of obsolete and damage articles / assets are to be carried out annually. Executive Committee of VMC is empowered to condemn the articles upto Rs /- in a financial year pertaining to all the stores of the School Fund and VVN, and exceeding Rs /- it should be submitted to the Assistant Commissioner, KVS, Chandigarh for approval after taking prior approval of VMC. The Chairman VMC is requested to kindly provide this Vidyalaya a suitable date to convene a meeting of Condemnation Board of Vidyalaya Executive Committee of VMC.

of Vidyalaya Building

12 Obtaining Safety Certificate of the Vidyalaya Building
It is brought to the notice of VMC that on dated it was reported by the Headmistress that a part of RB slab has fallen at around 9.45 AM in primary wing, however, during the incident the students who were passing the way were nearly escaped due to the vigilant approach of teachers. The Vidyalaya immediately sent letter to GE (North) to inspect the building and issue safety Certificate (Copy Enclosed). The Chairman, VMC is requested to kindly look into the matter and issue necessary instructions to the MES for the early action in the matter.

13 Dilapidated condition of Primary wing
It is submitted before VMC that an amount of Rs. 28 lakh was deposited with MES on for carrying out special Repair work of Vidyalaya building The work was started during May/June The deficiencies found in the repair work was reported to GE(North) and GE(North) vide their letter No. 8115/N-02/49/EB Dated instructed the contractor to take expeditious action. Till date the deficiencies are not rectified. Latest latter sent to GE(North) is enclosed for ready reference. The Chairman, VMC is requested to kindly look into the matter and issue necessary instructions to the MES for the rectification of deficiencies.

14 White Wash of Vidyalaya Building
As per the norms of M & R of Vidyalaya building, White wash of the Vidyalaya building is to be carried out once in a two year. The last White Wash of the Vidyalaya building was carried out during the year Dec 2015 for outer part. The inner part of the Vidyalaya building is due. The Chairman, VMC is requested to kindly grant its approval for carrying out the White Wash of the inner portion of the Vidyalaya building during May / June As per KVS norms the LPC will procure the items from the market and labourers will be hired from the market and will be paid with prevailing DC rates. The Expenditure will be met out of VVN by following the codal provisions and annual ceiling

15 Minor Repairs of Boundary wall
The Minor repairs of the broken iron grill on the boundary wall of the Vidyalaya are to be undertaken for the overall safety and security of the Vidyalaya. The Chairman, VMC is requested to kindly grant its approval for carrying out the repair works. The Expenditure will be met out of VVN by following the codal provisions and annual ceiling

16 Fixing of tiles blocks at the entrance of Vidyalaya building
It is submitted before the Chairman, VMC that during the rainy season a lots of rainy water accumulated at the entrance of the Vidyalaya building which occurs lots of problem for the teachers and students. It is proposed that permission may kindly be given to carry out the installation of Fixing of Interlocking tiles at the entrance of Vidyalaya building as a permanent solution to cope up with the problem. The Chairman, VMC is requested to kindly grant its approval for carrying out the work. The Expenditure will be met out of VVN by following the codal provisions and annual ceiling

18 Conduct of CBSE Examination
That the Vidyalaya has been assigned the task to conduct CBSE Board Examination The Vidyalaya conducted the Examination very smoothly.

21 Contractual Appointment
A total number of 10 Contractual Teachers appointed by the Vidyalaya for Computer teaching, Art and Craft, Hand ball Coach, Counsellor Expert-Music, Nurse, PGT-Pol Science, TGT(Bio) for the overall development of students of KV-1, Ambala.

22 Coaching Camp of Football U/17
It feels very proud to submit that KV-1, Ambala Cantt Football (U/17) team selected for KVS National Sports Meet. A coaching camp of 10 days was organized in this Vidyalaya as per the instructions of KVS. The team then proceeds to Agra for qualification round for Subroto Cup. Though fought well they fail to qualify. However their efforts are to be accoladed.

24 Distraction of studies from the outer disturbances
It is submitted before Chairman VMC that the activities in Patel Park are distracting the students studying in class VI and VII, as from the Ist floor of the Vidyalaya building, the view of Patel Park is quite clear due to low height of boundary wall. The Proposal for the increasing of height of the boundary wall was sent to KVS for approval. However the same was not considered vide letter No. F /75-KVS(HQ)/WK-II dated It is proposed that the cantonment board may kindly be asked to fix the green sheets on the park side, so that it will obstruct the view of park from the Vidyalaya. The visionary Chairman is requested to curve out a way from this problem.

25 Medical Check-up of the students- Ist round during July 2017
The Medical Checkup is a routine matter of KVS. The Ist round of Medical Check-up is due to be carried out during July It is requested that Medical Officer may be asked to provide suitable date during the month of July-17 for carrying out Medical Check-up in the vidyalaya for approx students. If the MO is unable to provide the Medical Check-up due to shortage of staff / time, permission may be given to the vidyalaya for engaging qualified doctor on the payment of Rs.20/- per child / per check-up. The Expenditure will be met out of VVN by following the prescribed Purchase procedure.

26 Procurement of 05 Computers with latest configuration on DGS&D rate contract
The VMC is requested to kindly accord the approval for the purchase of 05 Computers (MAKE- HCL )with latest configuration on DGS&D rate contract. The approx cost will be approx /-. The Expenditure will be met out of VVN by following the codal provisions and annual ceiling

27 Implantation of Solar Photovoltalic Panels in the Vidyalaya.
To cope up with the acute shortage of electricity it is proposed to implant Solar Photovoltalic Panels in the Vidyalaya. The Vidyalaya has asked to submit estimates, Which will be submitted to Chairman VMC in due course of time. The tentative cost for the implantation of 1200 Volt of Solar Photovoltalic Panels is around ( after 70% discount) The Chairman VMC is requested to accord his approval to initiate the matter.

28 Excursion of students. The Chairman is requested to accord his approval for the Hiring of Buses from Haryana Roadways for the Local Excursion/ Educational trip of the students to the nearby places of Ambala. The Expenditure will be met out of VVN by following the codal provisions and annual ceiling

29 Shredding of Trees. It is submitted that a good numbers of trees in the Vidyalaya got dried fully or partially. The Chairman VMC is requested to kindly instruct the DFO to inspect all the trees in and around the Vidyalaya premises so that necessary shredding where necessary can be initiated at an early date.

30 Procurement of goods and services
As per the revised instructions received from KVS (Hqrs) New Delhi regarding the amendment in purchase procedure stipulated in Accounts Code Article No. 169 to 183 vide letter No. F / /Budget/KVS dated , every Vidyalayta will prepare and maintain the item-wise lists of eligible and capable suppliers in the locality/city. Such approved suppliers will be known as “Registered Suppliers” with the approval of the Chairman, VMC. Such registered suppliers are prima facie eligible for consideration for procurement of goods through Limited Tender Enquiry. They are also ordinarily exempt from furnishing bid security alongwith their bids.

31 Procurement of goods and services
Accordingly, an advertisement was got published through “Dainik Tribune” dated with last date of receipt is for registration of firms for various supplies as needed in the Vidyalaya from time to time. The List of suppliers who have applied for their registration having their IT/TAN/TIN/VAT/PAN is enclosed for the Approval from Chairman, VMC.

32 Purchase of Furniture The furniture of class III and VIII are in a very bad condition and need to be replaced immediately. It is proposed to purchase 50 dual desk for III class and 50 for VIII class. The Expenditure will be met out of VVN by following the codal provisions and annual ceiling
