Version 8 does not require Java. We plan to complete the campus wide deployment of Electronic Timekeeping by May 2018, two months prior to our target launch date for UCPath. Deployment will occur in 5 waves. Each wave consists of multiple departments. During deployment, the Electronic Timekeeping project team will be meeting with department leadership, holding training sessions, and supporting staff as they make the transition to the new system. Why are we implementing Electronic Timekeeping? Prepares campus for UCPath. Helps ensure that all UCSB employees are paid accurately and fairly. Reduces errors from manual entry and exposure to timekeeping inconsistencies. Promotes compliance with state and federal pay and leave rules, university policies, and labor contracts. 50 days Wave 5 3/5/ /16/2018
