Over the past Sixteen Years, Bangalore has taken center stage as a launch pad for aspiring, beautiful and talented young Women. And The Miss Bangalore Beauty Pageant has been doing its mite to showcase the beauty and talent of this city. Behind this high profile pageant, since 1994 is Dream Merchants; an event management group from Bangalore. Having notched impressive successes since 1994 with this mega event, The Miss Bangalore Pageant has, over the years launched many a fashion career which has set catwalks on fire, graced celluloid and merited prime time On Television.

5 The Event – Map The success of Miss Bangalore spurs Dream Merchants to further the boundaries, this 10th Year round. For the participants, Miss Bangalore is a launch pad for making their mark in the modeling world, or to make their presence felt in national or international Beauty Pageants. For the Corporate World Miss Bangalore presents a golden opportunity; in terms of the tremendous mileage, attention and excitement the event generates. As a market savvy corporate, what better showcase can one hope for, than Miss Bangalore. Miss Bangalore is a beautiful journey not only for the participants but also for all the people involved in it. The Event starts with the Recruitment Phase, where in extensive publicity is done to invite Fresh faces of Bangalore to Participate in the contest.

The Recruitment Campaign is to reach out to the Miss Bangalore wannabes The campaign will include the following – College Promotions Pub Crawls Hoarding Newspaper Advertisements Road Shows PR exercise

8 Selection

9 The Event – Selection Once the girls apply for the contest all of them are called for an Interview where a panel of judges interact with them and select the best 16 for this year. The Auditions / Selection will take place at the Banquet Hall of The Crowne Plaza, Bangalore. Once the 16 are selected they under go a rigorous training session.

11 The Event – Training The Selected 16 Finalists are Trained by a group of Professionals In the following : Diction & Stage Presence Diet & Nutrition Grooming & Etiquette Hair Care Make Up Mock Shoots Music & Dance Physical Fitness Ramp Walk Skin Maintenance After the extensive training is over the girls will be presented to the Press at the Press Conference.

12 Photo shoot

13 The Event – Photo Shoot The girls will be caught on Video as Well as Camera. These Photos will be used for Judging the Miss Photogenic contest. The Photo shoot will be a one day outing where in the Title Sponsor could have their Products endorsed. After all the training and shooting it is time for the Sub Events where the different aspects of the woman are highlighted and judged.

14 Press Conference

15 The Event – Press Conference
At the Conference the girls are presented by the choreographer along with the other trainers. The Trainers will talk about how they trained the girls and what the out come is. The Press Conference will be attended by all the leading publications of Bangalore as well as the electronic Media.

17 The Event – Sub Events Miss Skin
This event will be an all exclusive event which is organised to select the Girl with the Smoothest and the most Glowing skin among all the contestants. Miss Figure This event will be an all exclusive event which is organised to select the Girl with the most perfect figure among all the contestants. Miss Catwalk is organised to select the Girl with the Sexiest Walk among all the contestants.

18 The Event – Sub Events Miss Photogenic
This event will be an all exclusive event which is organised to select the Girl with the Most Charming Face Behind the Camera. Miss Hair is organised to select the Girl with the Silkiest and Smoothest Hair among all the contestants. Miss Eyes This event will be an all exclusive event which is organised to select the Girl with the most Dreamiest & enchanting of all eyes.

20 The Event – The Finals The Finals of Miss Bangalore is the biggest Fashion Extravaganza and it is publicized as such inviting spectators to visit the venue and witness the crowning of the queen. The event will include introduction round, Model Material Round, Question Round, and Final Common Question Round. The Girls will be judged by an eminent Panel of Judges who will be part of who’s who of Bangalore.

22 The Event – After Hour Party
The After Hour Party which takes place immediately after the Finals. This event is a party in honor of the Winner. The Party is a chance for the press, sponsors, and high society to interact with the winner and know her better.
