Objective
Give an example of a profitable new product (a car) in the telematics area (i.e. any integrated use of telecommunications and informatics)
Show Altran’s ability to provide end-to-end solutions (from ideation, and business models elaboration to development and integration)
Result:
A platform that:
is based on a GENIVI operating system (faster time-to-market, cheaper development costs, swifter innovation)
has a rich connection and interaction with the outside world (your favorite apps at your disposal)
offers adapted car ergonomics (speech recognition, steering wheel commands, and in the future, also touch screen capabilities, etc)
has been fully and seamlessly integrated into the chain production of a car’s electronics
ensures that only certified applications that guarantee driver safety are run into the car
