4 Requirements Both BAH Majors and Medials: Majors (APEC/ECON):
Minimum cumulative GPA = 1.9 Interested in doing a Thesis (4.0 econ GPA) Please speak to the undergraduate chair about approval Majors (APEC/ECON): Completion of ECON 310, 320*, 351 30 units of ECON with minimum GPA = 2.6 *Recommended but not required for APEC students Medials: Completion of ECON 310 or 320 or 351 18 units of ECON with minimum GPA = 2.6 Eligible for final year in second concentration

Seminar Selection Deadline: July 3 (Selections entered for you prior to summer registration NOT on SOLUS by you) Admission Priority to Seminars – ranked by ECON GPA 1st choice goes to students with highest ECON GPA

6 Registration and Degree Requirements
DO NOT use “Plan by my Requirements” feature on SOLUS – information provided is inaccurate and confusing. ALWAYS use the “Academic Advisement Report” feature on SOLUS – accurately shows you what you have completed and what you still need to complete to graduate! To search SOLUS for on-line courses, change the “Career Type” from “Undergraduate” to “Distance”. Jennine is available in the UG Studies office by only throughout the registration period (July 10-28). Do not phone!

4 different topic areas in each term. Seminar topic areas will be available June 21 (approx.) Seminar topics and instructors are not necessarily the same every year.

10 Other Fourth Year Highlights
Juanita Dennie (QED Career Placement) will be organizing career info sessions in early September and ing you throughout the year about job opportunities. Career Services will have sessions on resume/cover letter and interview skills. Take advantage of these opportunities! The Annual 4th Year Dinner will be held in November at the Delta Waterfront. This is an event to remember!

11 Applying to Graduate Schools Law Schools, other options
LSAT, GMAT, GRE are ideally completed in the summer prior to 4th year. Many graduate programs are available, not just Economics. MFE at U of T is very popular JD programs include Law + ECON JD/MA. Queen’s and U of T Law School Deadline November. You must be eligible and accepted in both the MA ECON and Law
