Agenda: Warm-Up Character Analysis Worksheets Notes – Scenic Design Set Rendering Assignment Independent Practice Closure Tuesday, March 22, 2016 Final COAHTR Set Day(s) (Formal) WARM-UP: Lethargic (Adj.) -Fearless and Bold. - Out of nowhere, John felt a sudden thwack against the back of his neck. He reached up and investigated what had hit him. As he felt around, he found a small wooden dart protruding from below his left ear. He plucked it, and all at once, a lethargic wave crippled his entire body. He collapsed to his knees in the sand, and just before everything turned black, he saw it. Objective: (1)Discuss major themes, symbolism, and character objectives in COATR. (2)Complete formal Character Analysis Worksheets.

Mood refers to the dominant emotional quality of the production Spirit refers to the production concept—the way the director and designers have decided the play should be presented

14 The Final Assignment Before the Break.
A UNIT set rendering of what YOU envision the set for this show would look like. (Proscenium Style) Can be on a standard sheet of computer paper (ehhh) or on a larger piece of sketch paper something comparable (better). Must be in color. Can be hand-drawn, colored, or computer generated and constructed. Must function for the demands of the show. Consider the information and advice given from the notes.

On the back, a half page reflection summary of the choices you made in designing the set and colors/textures you have selected. Due (in my hand) before school at 3pm on THURSDAY.
