QW: What are some things we have learned about Nick in the first two chapters? How might his background color the way he tells this story? How trustworthy is Nick?

8 Narrator Reliability Group Work
Read the two literary analyses on Nick Carraway. Citing Evidence from both articles and the novel: Summarize the role Nick plays as the narrator. Is he reliable? To what extent? Might Nick be Fitzgerald’s conscience? (think back to the moths from the video clip) Should Nick be the moral compass through which we come to learn about Gatsby? Turn in a group sheet with the answers to these questions HW: Chp 2 Vocab. Assignment (due Thurs)
