Oracle Cloud Excellence Implementer Ecosystem
Implementer Program Oracle Cloud Excellence Implementer Ecosystem Globally Consistent Program to Drive Oracle Cloud Customer Success This program will create a robust and globally consistent program to drive Oracle Cloud customer success We are evolving OPN to build and identify an ecosystem of qualified consulting firms with proven, relevant skills and expertise to deliver successful implementations Partners’ certification at the cloud service module level and within defined geographies Initial product focus at launch will include all SaaS modules globally in all defined geographies, however the program will not be open to the public sector in NAS and LAD. In addition, in the US the program will not include private Healthcare or Higher Ed. Of course our intention will be to include all Oracle Cloud products going forward– so stay tuned!!! To determine partner capabilities, there will be rigorous entry and ongoing engagement criteria Through representation on Solutions Catalog and the Oracle Cloud Marketplace, as well as general promotion and engagement, customers will recognize our partners’ specific skills Previous regional initiatives will be consolidated into this single program and we will nurture Cloud Excellence Implementers (or CEIs) to expand their skills so that together we can meet regional capacity demands Customer recognition for skills & expertise Implementation specialists certified by cloud service module Initial focus on all SaaS by defined geographies Rigorous entry & ongoing engagement criteria Oracle CEIs to meet regional capacity demand 11

Oracle Positioned as a Leader in Gartner Magic Quadrant 2018 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Transportation Management Systems “Controlling transportation costs, creating internal efficiencies, increasing visibility and securing transport capacity are currently the top motivators for investing in a TMS. Supply chain leaders should use this research to evaluate the TMS marketplace.” Link to Gartner Magic Quadrant report Gartner “Magic Quadrant for Transportation Management Systems” by Bart De Muynck, March 19, This graphic was published by Gartner, Inc. as part of a larger research document and should be evaluated in the context of the entire document. Logistics Network Modeling
27
LOGISTICS NETWORK MODELING WHAT IF YOU COULD…
Create scenarios using real-world data and constraints Quickly perform what-if analysis Compare results side-by-side with meaningful metrics Products -What we make? -How do we create value for our customers? Processes -How we make our products? -How we deliver them? -How we service our customers? Partners -Who we work with? -How we work with them? People -Who we employ? -What skills do they need? Business disruptions have a direct effect on supply chains – Oracle as an example -Disruption: software delivered as a service -Supply Chain at Oracle used to be the production & distribution of software on CDs A very simple supply chain -Software on CDs has been replaced by software-as-a-service delivered via a global network of data centers -Supply Chain is now a global operation for manufacturing the servers, storage and other equipment required to build and operate a global network of data centers >12,000 physical products 275 suppliers 10 manufacturing facilities 900 employees

Logistics Network Modeling
Solution Overview Define, optimize, analyze & compare logistics scenarios What-If Analysis Network Design Simulate network performance using real-world, operational data Carriers, rates, capacities, locations, equipment, items, order history, etc. Intrinsic part of OTM for seamless execution Use operational data in scenarios Implement decisions and changes for immediate effect

Artificial Intelligence
INDUSTRY 4.0 DISRUPTIVE TECHNOLOGIES CREATE NEW OPPORTUNITIES We’ve all heard the terms – artificial intelligence, machine learning, blockchain, IOT, chatbots, but what does it all mean? It means nothing unless you put these tools to use in the basic processes the run your business And that’s our job at Oracle…our job is to harness these emerging technologies to make your supply chain processes and your people more effective – higher, faster, stronger Artificial Intelligence Blockchain Autonomous Software IoT Chatbots
31
ORACLE IoT STRATEGY FOCUS ON BUSINESS OUTCOMES
Detect Track movement Read temperature Gauge humidity Sense vibration Analyze Visualize status Contextualize events Predict failures Trigger alerts Update device parameters Act Dispatch service Reroute shipments Substitute materials Replan supply Initiate billing events Device Signals Business Events IoT Devices IoT Cloud Applications SCM Cloud Building Sensors Equipment Asset Monitoring Production Monitoring Revenue and Billing Manufacturing Logistics Mobile Devices Fleet Monitoring Connected Worker Logistics Service
32
OTM + IoT Fleet Monitoring Cloud
Unified, Real-time, Accurate Assets Visibility – Past, Current and Future Integrated with OTM Cloud Built-in integration with OTM Cloud allows for real-time visibility into shipments location and automatic event handling Import shipments automatically into IoT FM, from OTM once they are planned Map Drivers assigned via OTM workbench to IoT FM Drivers Send real-time shipment location updates, arrival and departure notifications and other important events from IoT FM to OTM Real-time ETA calculation, factoring in traffic, driver rest time, wait time, accessorial time and other key aspects
33
Chatbots & Conversational Intelligence
Messaging Oracle Cloud Platform Finally, let’s discuss chatbots, or “conversational intelligence”, another emerging technology Chatbots deliver the information your customers, partners and employees need, when they need it, regardless of where the underlying data reside Chatbots combine two very powerful technologies: Natural Language Processing (NLP): Enables unstructured interaction using voice or text Artificial intelligence: Intent Detection – what does this phrase mean? What information does this person want? The result, is extremely convenient and streamlined method for people to get information that is otherwise trapped in your backend systems. -No special knowledge required -Leverage common messaging platforms – WeChat, Slack, WhatsApp, Siri, Alexa, etc Conversational UI has the potential to revolutionize how we interact with our business applications Supply chain examples -Where’s my order/shipment? -Which demand is at risk? -What’s an alternate source of supply? -How much to expedite delivery? -Which sites are behind plan? AI
34
Easily Interact via Chat
Where’s my shipment? Use Cases Order Status Global Trade & Transportation Shipment Tracking Stops Details History OTM Chatbot will be delivered to you via a web link. You can access it on any device, such as smart phone, tablet and laptop. After being authenticated, you will see the chat interface. It is optimized for a mobile experience and it looks just like most instant messaging apps. Based on input from our customers, we have prioritized the following use cases in the initial launch: Track Shipment and Get Order Status. Here, the user sent a shipment ID as a message to the Chatbot. Chatbot returned a card with key shipment information, such as status and ETA.

AI/Machine Learning in Transportation
Collaboration with Oracle Labs Use Cases Transit time Leverage machine learning to use history and current trends to predict transit time on lanes Identify at-risk shipments and proactively work with customer Use at order capture time to accurately predict shipment route and set order promise date Capacity planning Use ML to predict shipment counts by lane and equipment type Compare with current shipment volume and collaborate with carriers to resolve Reduce reliance on the expensive spot market when capacity is scarce Uses Oracle Labs AutoML technology and tools Capabilities of Oracle Labs AutoML Auto Feature Selection: Select only the relevant features, thus reducing training time Auto Model Selection: Select best ML model for a given dataset and task Auto-Tuning: Tune the selected model via hyperparameter tuning to improve the accuracy Enables building sophisticated Machine Learning Models: Ability to handle large feature sets Leveraging historical transit information as well as contextual information such as road construction & traffic, weather patterns & terms of delivery Results in improved prediction accuracy
