1. Siechem established in 2002 by Mr. P. Damodaren who has an experience
for more than 3 decades in Wires & Cables.
2. Corporate office incorporating Design, Technical, IT, Finance, Commercial, SCM, Sales & Marketing in Chennai with a number of sales & marketing personnel supporting world wide customers.
3. Manufacturing Plant in Pondicherry, India spread over 100,000 sq feet.
4. Man Power : 500+
5. Production capacity: 3.5 million meters of wires & cables per day.  
6. In house R&D, Testing lab, Electron beam cross-linking, Compounding, Complete
manufacturing from copper rod to finished cable.
7. Siechem is constructing 500,000 sq feet factory shed as Unit – II, 4 kms away from existing plant in Pondicherry, South India. The proposed wire and cable manufacturing capacity will be 20,00,000 kms/Annum. This new facility also will be operational from September 2018.

Siechem has in-house manufacturing facility for wires and cables, heat shrinkable tubing with state-of-art machineries imported from Europe, Russia, USA and procured from indigenous sources.
From Copper or Aluminium rod drawing till final stage of manufacture, the wires and cables are fully done in the Pondicherry factory, situated about 140 Kms from Chennai airport.
Siechem’s present production capacity is about 12,000 metric tons of Copper or Aluminium Wires and Cables per annum. The same is under expansion to reach 24,000 metric tons or in other words about 2 million mtrs of cables per day. When unit - II is commence in Sep 2018, Our capacity will be 4 times of present production capacity.
Siechem’s strength is that it has its own cable studio to develop any type of design to 2D or 3D, in-house R&D, Electron Beaming, Electro Tinning, compound manufacturing and complete cable manufacturing from wire drawing, bunching or stranding, insulation, laying up, sheathing, tapping, braiding or armouring, jacketing, printing facilities etc, without depending on any external sources, to ensure the quality of its products supplied.

Siechem’s in-house R&D is recognized by Government of India,
Ministry of Science and Technology. This is one of the prestigious
approval’s the company has received.
Siechem’s R&D team manned by well experienced and young
technocrats is engaged in development of more than 20 million
part nos. of wires and cables, covering 32 different segments,
registered many Patents and published technical papers.
It is continuously working on finding alternate materials which are environmentally friendly and improving process optimization.
As a market leader in specialty wires and cables segment in India, Siechem’s R&D team is engaged in reduction in emission and pollution, Customer specific development of wires & cables to reduce weight, improve flexibility and enhance Oil, Chemical, UV, Ozone, Electrical, Mechanical, Thermal &Fire resistance properties without compromising quality, environmental and safety standards.
Siechem spends about 3% of its revenue annually for R&D projects.
