2 Review Linear Equation
Remember How to graph: y = -2x + 3 y-intercept: 3 Slope: -2/1

3 b = 3 y = -2x + 3 m = -2/1

4 y > -2x + 3 First, graph the boundary line. Graph it just like an equation with y-intercept and slope, or x- and y-intercepts.

5 y > -2x + 3 Since it is greater than or equal
b = 3 y > -2x + 3 m = -2/1 Since it is greater than or equal to the line, fill in the line, plus all values greater than (above) the line.

6 y < -2x + 3 Since it is less than or equal
b = 3 y < -2x + 3 m = -2/1 Since it is less than or equal to the line, fill in the line and shade all values less than (below) the line.

7 y < -2x + 3 The boundary line is not
m = -2/1 Show the line is not included by making it dashed (unshaded) The boundary line is not included since it is not equal. Shade all values less than (below) the line.
