3 Types of Persuading Aristotle ( BCE) – Student of Plato; wrote on logic, philosophy, ethics, physics, biology, psychology, politics and rhetoric. Rhetoric – the art of speaking; the art of PERSUASION. What’s the goal of persuasion? To change someone’s point of view To inspire others to take action
