Student List (Feature panel) Search by… Always search by sort order Sort using column headers Admin vs Teacher mode Get Info Click on “I” Click on “Arrow”

6 First Day Counts Steps Hamburger (Make sure you’re on Teacher Mode)
Online Forms My Online Forms (Feature panel) Select Period Click “Start” (At bottom page, description says “Enter First Day Counts” For each student select “yes” or “no” Click “Complete & Next” Enter Non-Roster students Enter # of non-roster students Enter # of students in class (total number (# Yes + # Non-Roster=# Total)) Click “Complete & Review” Review & Correct Click “Submit Form”

Attendance (Make sure you are in Teacher mode) Daily Attendance (Feature panel) Select All Classes & group by Period (Upper right) Click on class Go through student list and select students who are absent Click on “Save & Return” Notes You must adhere to your attendance window! Tardies are handled per your campus policy

Decide the grade categories to be used in each class Decide on the weights to be assigned to each category Ensure weights add up to 100 Make sure you adhere to grade policy! Daily Work Tests Project Homework Total Reading 40 30 10 20 100 Math 50 Science 25 15 Social Studies

9 Gradebook Gradebook Setup Steps Hamburger
Gradebook (Must be in Teacher Mode) Grade sheet (Feature panel) Click “Settings” on upper right of page Click “Grade Calculations” on left of page Select “Term 1” by clicking on the Term 1 Arrow Select each grade category and assign the corresponding weight Click on “Save & Back” Setting up the other terms (2-4) If each term is identical you can copy term 1 to the other terms using the down arrow option If each term is different go through the term 1 process starting at step 6 but for each of the other terms Set up other classes by selecting the next class from the class selector (top of page right above GRADEBOOK: GRADESHEET then proceed from step 4

Steps Hamburger Gradebook Assignments (Feature panel) Click on + sign (Upper right of page) Minimum fields to enter Assigned date Due date Category Assignment Name Max score Weight Click “Save & Back”

11 Gradebook – Grade Entry
Steps Hamburger Gradebook Gradesheet (Features panel) Select class Click “Enter Scoring Mode” from upper right of page Enter grades (can use enter key) If additional documentation is needed press double arrows below assignment name to enter comments, etc. Optionally click on assignment title for mass score option

12 Discipline Steps Hamburger Discipline Referral (Features panel)
Click “Add referral” on upper right of page Select “Referral” or “Warning” Warning is for teacher documentation only; goes no further Referral goes to admin for action Teacher can update/change until action is assigned Admin can update/change always Teacher can see action after it is assigned To add additional offenders/involved person click on green “+” on bottom left of page Click “Next” Review entry Click “Save”
