1. JCreator Setup Instructions

Note: Start at Slide 13 if you have already created your workspace

2. Select Start, All Programs, JCreator LE 3.5, JCreator LE

3. Select Configure, Options

4. Click JDK Profiles, Select the existing profile, Click Delete
If it doesn’t have JDK Version 1.5 then select whatever appears and select delete.

5. Click New, Browse to C:\ProgramFiles\Java\jdk1.5.0_01

6. Click OK ….. Click OK again

7. Click Apply, Click OK

8. Click File, New, Blank Workspace

9. Click the ‘…’ after the Location

10. Select the W:\ drive, Click OK

11. Workspace Name: CS1043 Click Finish

12. Workspace CS1043 appears

13. Start from here if you’ve already created your workspace

14. Select File, New, Project, Empty Project

15. Project Name: LabNine Click Finish

16. LabNine appears in File View

17. Select LabNine, Right Click Add

18. Name: lab9, Click Public, Generate main method, Finish

19. lab9.java is created

20. Click Build, RunTime Configuration

21. Click Default, Edit

22. Click Default, Edit, Capture output

23. Click OK….Click OK….Click OK

24. Click Build, Compile Project, Execute Project

25. To print code & output Select whichever window you wish to print
