Give thanks For a good Messy Church last Saturday For all who attended the ‘Brothers in Arms’ production last Sunday afternoon For the work of Tearfund over the past 50 years, enabling the Church around the world to show God’s love in practice, ‘Following Jesus where the need is greatest’ That ‘the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it’! (John 1:5)

Prayer Requests Continue to surround Ben and family with prayer, giving thanks for progress made and praying that the needed bone marrow transplant operation will be able to go ahead safely at the right time. For Barbara Lang’s nephew and his girlfriend, following the birth of their first child recently in difficult circumstances For families struggling with children with complex needs For Alistair’s Dad, recovering in hospital in Scotland after a fall and a major stroke

The Local Food Bank supported an average of 48 households every week in September by giving out 64 food parcels.

As a church we are connected to Kigezi Diocese in Uganda; the latest news letter is on the notice board in the foyer. Thank you to Lesley Napier for agreeing to be the link person for this, receive the newsletters and encourage us to pray for them.
