ABB in Poland has factories located in: Lodz (Transformers), Przasnysz (High Voltage and Medium Voltage Apparatus), Aleksandrow Lodzki (Motors, Power Electronics) Wroclaw (Low Voltage Systems). The Design Office of Power Systems is located in Krakow. Krakow is the location of the: ABB Corporate Research Center, Information Systems Delivery Center (ISDC). Production of standard, industrial low-voltage, high efficiency motors Computerized manufacturing lines will be used to produce low-voltage electrical motors, 80 mm to 355 mm in size, power from 0.25 to 250 kW To be used for powering various fans, pumps and turbines May operate in flammable and explosive environments Considerable amount of production exported to almost all countries in the world The factory is a significant production center of electrical motors „Made in ABB” Aleksandrow Łódzki Production started in September 2009 In the years the factory has been expanded, sqm of production floor added, investment amounted 52,5 mln PLN 270 people working in the factory (as for October 2014) © ABB Group November 6, 2018 | Slide 13

The factory is producing: medium voltage drives for optimum use of electrical energy 3 kV DC traction converters for clean, ecological railway transport medium voltage converters for wind power applications.
